As well as the European Union member states and the countries of the European Economic Area WARNING! In practice, stays that are exempted from a short-stay visa do not allow the person to earn a salary or wage. But when a foreigners enters France, this "scientific" stay can be financed through a grant or a salary. Even if the stay is financed by a salary, the foreigner that hold a hosting agreement is exempted of any short term visa.
