<p>All foreign researchers or teacher-researchers coming to the Languedoc-Roussillon region can benefit from the following services : </p><ul><li><a href="/dn_FnAKsservices/"><u><font color="#800080">services offered by the FnAK</font></u></a> throughout France by applying for the Researcher Guest Card, </li><li>services offered by the <strong>EURAXESS Services Centre of the Languedoc-Roussillon</strong> region described below. </li></ul><p><span class="titre3b">Missions </span><br />The mission of the Centre for Mobility of the Languedoc-Roussillon region is to help the foreign post-doctoral researchers, visiting researchers and professors who are coming to work in institutes that are part of the Pole of Universities of Montpellier and the Association Agropolis with their preparation for the move and arrival. </p><p><span class="titre3b">Services for researchers</span><br />The Centre for Mobility of the Languedoc-Roussillon region is at the service of foreign researchers and professors and of their host laboratories and departments. Its aim is to give information and assistance to our scientific guests or direct them towards the appropriate administration : </p><ul><li>On-line reading of the « Guide for guide scientists and professors», (French/English), <a target="_blank" href="http://www.agropolis.fr/pratique/guide/">www.agropolis.fr/pratique/guide/</a> </li><li>Reception of the public, by appointment </li><li>A Welcome package given to all the newly arrived guests containing tourist information about the town, the department, the region, information on cultural events, associations, and an invitation to the Agropolis Museum (museum of food and agriculture) </li><li>Application to the Researcher Guest Card of the Kastler Foundation with an access to all the advantages linked with this partnership </li><li>Information on accommodation </li><li>Assistance with administrative formalities relating to housing, insurance, bank, subsidies,... </li><li>Assistance in finding schools for the children </li><li>Assistance in requesting a resident permit<br /></li><li>French classes : <a target="_blank" href="http://www.agropolis.fr/english/guide/newfle2.html">http://www.agropolis.fr/english/guide/newfle2.html</a>, </li><li>Access to various cultural events (cultural calendar, organized visits, invitations, Pass'Culture…). </li></ul>
