All foreign researchers or teacher-researchers coming to the Provence Côte-d'Azur region can benefit from the following services :

• services offered by the FnAK throughout France by applying for the Researcher Guest Card,
• services offered by the Mobility Centre of the Provence Côte-d'Azur region described below.

Missions
The missions of the mobility centre are

• to welcome foreign researchers to the universities of the PACA region (AIX-Marseille I, II, III and Corsica).
• to provide information before the arrival to the Provence by sending documents that may be useful for preparing for the move to France (a hard copy of our welcome guide is also available). Upon arrival, the mission of the mobility centre is to assist the researcher and his/her family with administrative formalities (residency permit, health insurance, and more) and with all other steps regarding their stay in France (housing, services, hobbies,...).

Services available to foreign researchers
Upon arrival, foreign researchers will be given a welcome booklet containing a map of the various university sites, useful addresses and a description of the services available through the universities. They will be offered : French classes organised by a language centre specially dedicated to the teaching of French to foreign students and researchers, Sports activities offered by the universities (races, gymnastics, sailing permit, etc.) Cultural activities at negotiated prices : opera, theatre, movies, organised tours, travel…..
