Reception Office for Foreign Researchers in Strasbourg

The reception office dedicated to foreign researchers works in close relationship to the Kastler Foundation and has, amongst other goals, that of improving conditions for receiving foreign researchers, who are increasing in numbers to complete their formations in our laboratories (Universities, CNRS, INSERM, etc...) within all fields of discipline: scientific, literary, law etc. This task, essentially assigned to taking care of post-doctorant researchers and invited associated professors focuses on a wide range of services or administrative procedures such as:

- procuring a titre de séjour (paper allowing you to stay in France for more than three months),
- registration of titres de séjour at the Préfecture for the foreign researchers and their families
- help for finding accomodation in so far as it does not replace institutional organisations qualified in this field (CROUS for example) or private organisations.
- help for problems encountered during the stay and advising towards the right service.

When your laboratory receives foreign researchers for a stay of three months or more, we suggest you contact Mrs Denise Voegel, in charge of researchers at the Guest Researchers Office, without waiting for your guest's arrival  :
