WARNING! The new French immigrations laws from July 26th, 2007, completed by a Decree from mars 21rst 2007 and a Circular from August 22nd 2007, implements Directive CE 2005/71 (11 octobre 2005). This new law changes the procedure for foreign researchers coming to France.
