At the request of the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, drafting of the protocole d’accueil (Entry Protocol), a form that greatly simplified formalities (visa, residency permit) of foreign researchers moving to France (RESEDA law). This started our legal cooperation with the préfectures, the Ministries and the European Commission. It was imagined by Frédéric Carrière, FnAK’s first legal expert, on the model of the invitation letter sent by universities to their Visiting Professors: a French good practice transposed throughout the EU in 2005.
